“I remember thinking, if God could reorient my life so much by getting to know Him, there’s no greater privilege than guiding others in recognizing and experiencing God’s unconditional love.”

What Is Spiritual Direction?

What Is Spiritual Direction?

You have made us for Yourself, O Lord, and our heart is restless until it rests in you.-St. Augustine
Spiritual direction is a safe place to explore questions, concerns and restlessness about life with God.

Times of spiritual uncertainty pepper our lives.

We find ourselves…

  • Unsure of God’s will
  • Confused by our circumstances
  • Walking through desert places
  • Longing for more

A Christian spiritual director serves as a trained listener who will accompany you as you share about your spiritual journey.

She guides you in noticing God’s presence and activity along the way.

She can help identify your personal reactions and responses toward God and others.

Hospitable, confidential, and grounded in biblical truth, spiritual direction is a ministry that helps you grow in prayer and live out your calling as a follower of Christ.

Spiritual direction looks for God’s activity within all of life’s experiences. This perspective invites you into a deeper relationship with God no matter your circumstances.

Spiritual direction doesn’t replace other forms of helping ministries such as biblical, pastoral, or psychological counseling, but rather complements and supplements these important ministries.
